Tea companies engaging in tea cultivation or both tea cultivation and tea manufacturing and having estates exceeding 50 hectares are eligible for Ordinary membership
There are two categories of Associate Members
Category 1 – Firms / Proprietors / Partnership / Companies (public or private) Cooperatives engaged solely in manufacturing of Tea (i.e. Bought Leaf Factories (BLF) eligible for Associate membership
Category 2 - Firms / Proprietors / Partnership / Companies (public or private) Cooperatives engaged solely in cultivation of tea and whose area is less than 50 hectares (small growers) eligible for Associate membership.
Any Society, Company or Body of Persons as may be decided by the Association’s National Committee
