The language of Tea abounds in terminology specific to the Tea Industry. For example, when people talk about the grade of a leaf, it refers to the size of leaf particle. Dust is a term given to the smallest leaf particle. In America dust is often termed finings. The word stringy, used in connection with tea, describes large leaf China tea of good quality after it has been "made". Made tea refers to tea at the end of production.
