Tea should be stored in a tightly closed container so that it remains fresh. To enjoy a cup of tea it should be well brewed. To make a good cup of tea the following steps to be followed:

  • Take fresh water and bring it to boil but do not boil it more than half a minute.
  • Measure the tea carefully. Use 1 rounded teaspoon of loose tea for each cup to be served. § Pour the tea into a clean dry tea pot.
  • As the water comes to a boil, pour the water into the teapot.
  • Allow the tea to brew for 2 to 3 minutes. The longer the size of the leaf the longer the time it takes to brew. It may take upto 5 minutes for some Assam and Darjeeling tea.
  • Pour the tea into the cup and drink it with or without milk and sugar according to your taste.

Some handy tips:

  • Always use fresh water

  • Boil the water fully and correctly. The Tea pot should be warmed by rinsing it in hot water.
