Tea Board invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following post(s) for its Head Office in Kolkata and other Regional/Sub-Regional Offices detailed below :

1. Deputy Director of Tea Development (Plantation) 01 Post [UR] (Rs.10000-325-15200/-)
Essential Qualification: A degree of a recognized University preferably in Science or Agriculture or Botany with at least 60% marks.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience at senior managerial level in a Scheduled/Co-operative Bank or any other recognized financial institution. Preference would be given to candidates having post-graduate degree in Agriculture/ Economics or MBA in Financial Management.
Age Limit: 40 years

2. Deputy Director of Tea Promotion (Rs.10000-325-15200/-) 01 Post [UR]
Essential Qualification: Honours Graduate from a recognized University with a Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in Marketing/ Advertisement/ Mass Communication.
Experience: At least 10(ten) years working experience in a Market Research Organisation or in Marketing Division of a reputed company dealing in agro-products or experience in sales promotion/campaign of agricultural products in an advertising agency.
Age Limit: 40 years.

3. System Analyst (Rs.8000-275-13500/- ) 01 Post [UR]
Essential Qualification: B.Tech(Computer Science/electronics and Communications) or B.E.(Computer Science/Electronics and Communication) or MCA from Institutions accredited by A. I. C.T.E.
Experience: Two years’ experience in system design and implementation in real life project under multi-user and multi-architecture environment.
Age Limit: 30 Years

4. Superintendent (Statistics) (Rs.5500-175-9000/-) 01 Post[UR]
Essential Qualification: Must be Honours Graduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics. The candidate must possess sound knowledge of statistical method. At least 3 years’ experience in statistical work involving collection, compilation and interpretation of data.
Desirable: Person with higher qualification and knowledge & working experience in Information Technology will be preferred.

Experience: Two years working experience in the capacity of Assistant Manager or equivalent in a Tea Estate / Assistant Advisory Officer in a Tea Research Organisation.

10. Jr. Scientific Assistant (Soil Science) (Rs.4500-125-7000/-) 01 Post[UR]
Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. (Ag.) with Soil Science and practical experience in Soil Analysis. Preference may be given to candidates having 2(two) years’ working experience in any soil testing laboratory/institute.
Age Limit : 32 Years

11. Jr. Scientific Assistant (Plant Protection) (Rs.4500-125-7000/-) 01 Post[UR]
Qualification & Experience: Honours Degree in Chemistry or Biology or B.Sc.(Ag.) of a recognized University and practical experience in laboratory work. Preference may be given to candidates having 2(two) years’ working experience in any reputable laboratory/institute carrying out analytical work.
Age Limit : 32 Years

HOW TO APPLY

(i)   All the post(s) is/are temporary but likely to continue. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one        year.
(ii)   Persons working in Government or Public Sector Undertakings must apply through proper channel
(iii) Application to be made in plain paper neatly typewritten in double space giving complete Bio-data together with        attested copies of the testimonials & documents in support of caste(i.e. SC/ST/OBC) and experience as mentioned         above.
(iv)  One recent passport size photograph should be pasted (NOT stapled) on the top right hand corner of the application         and thereafter sign on it. Another copy of the same photo should be sent separately.
(v)  Please inscribe in block capitals the nomenclature of the post applied for on the envelope containing       the application.
(vi)  One envelope should contain one application of one applicant only
